Dynamic Terminal: A More Powerful Way to LP and Print
At Meteora, we are always striving to make it easy for liquidity providers (LPs) to utilize our tech and platform to earn fees.
DLMM is our flagship protocol and the most powerful way for LPs to earn fees. It has contributed a substantial portion of the ~$1.68B in total fees generated on Meteora. We know how important the user interface is, especially since many of us in the LP Army use it to LP for a living, on a daily basis.
As such, for the past year, we’ve been listening closely to community feedback, testing improvements on edge.meteora.ag and refining the experience with both new LPs and power users.
Today, we’re excited to introduce a revamped pool detail interface we’re calling Dynamic Terminal!
This redesign is purpose-built to help you capitalize on new LP opportunities, track your position performance easily, manage risk more effectively, and operate with greater precision. Dynamic Terminal for DLMM is now live on meteora.ag, and will soon incorporate DAMM v2.
Why a Revamped UI/UX?
Liquidity provision has evolved over time, especially for an advanced and dynamic liquidity model like Meteora’s DLMM. There is an increasing need for:
- Faster decision-making
- Better data visibility
- Efficient position management
- Precision execution
The previous DLMM pool detail page and layout delivered the essentials and carried us this far. However, on both PC and mobile, there was still plenty of scrolling and navigation required when managing liquidity, especially when multiple liquidity positions were created. Certain critical token information also had to be found on other sites, resulting in a fragmented experience with many tabs open.
As more features are added to DLMM, such as one-click Rebalance and the upcoming On-Chain Limit Order, we soon realized that the old layout could no longer support the kind of fast, seamless workflow active LPs need.
With this revamped DLMM interface, we aim to deliver a single powerful command center for LPs with better data, faster actions, and less friction.
Our objectives were clear:
- Unify all critical data in one place
- Provide an advanced TradingView chart with analytical tools
- Reduce friction in position creation and management
- Improve execution speed
- Give LPs greater control over their workspace
The result is a flexible, powerful, and performance-focused experience.
What’s New And How LPs Benefit
1. All Critical Pool and Token Insights In One View
On the left side of the screen, there is an adjustable insights panel (that can be resized or hidden entirely with a single click) containing
Key pool statistics such as
- Base Fee, Bin Step, Dynamic Fee, TVL and ratio, Liquidity distribution, Volume, Fees, Fees/TVL
Token info and metrics such as
- Token CA and Jup Organic Score, links to solscan, RugCheck, Bubblemap
- Token Age, Market Cap, FDV, Holders, % of supply held by Top 10 Holders, % of supply held by Top 10 Dev Wallets, Freeze Authority, Mint Authority, Total Supply
- Token Price Change % in 5m/1h/12h/24h
- Pool performance insights
- Links to popular LP tools
Key Benefits:
The best liquidity allocation strategies are data-driven. Having all important pool and token stats in one place helps LPs:
- Be aware of any token risks
- Identify high-fee opportunities
- Assess volatility and volume trends
- Evaluate capital efficiency
- Make informed entry decisions
Previous LP workflows require jumping between browser tabs to obtain different data, making LPing slower than it needs to be. Now everything important for decision making can be found in one single dashboard.
2. Professional-Grade TradingView Price Chart
Charting is non-negotiable for serious LPs. We now provide a Price Chart that includes full TradingView analytics and tools for LPs to run technical analysis whenever necessary:
- Analyze token price movements
- Draw support and resistance levels
- Apply technical indicators
- Zoom into specific timeframes
- Hide the chart entirely if needed
- Charting analysis and layout preferences saved automatically
Key Benefits:
Concentrated liquidity strategies depend heavily on price ranges. Better analysis = better positioning = higher fee capture potential.
With advanced charting tools built directly into the pool page, LPs can:
- Set tighter, more strategic ranges
- Time your entries more effectively
- Adjust positions based on market trends
- Reduce impermanent loss exposure
3. Create a Concentrated Liquidity Position Easily
We’ve made the call to action for position creation impossible to miss. The “Create Position” and “Ape In” buttons are prominently displayed and always within reach.
The Create Position process is streamlined to ensure:
- Clear liquidity allocation input fields
- Faster yet precise range selection
- Ability to fine tune your preferred Min and Max price by setting the % away from current price, or using the + — buttons to adjust per bin
- Simple confirmation flow
In addition, the “Ape In” button, as its name suggests, allows you to quickly swap and create a liquidity position with a single token, in a single click, based on your preferred settings.
Key Benefits:
Speed matters in volatile DeFi markets. The faster you can deploy liquidity within optimal ranges, the more likely you are to:
- Capture early trading volume and volatility
- Avoid missed fee opportunities
- React quickly to price shifts
4. Complete Overview of Your Positions with Real-Time Performance
At the bottom center of the screen, you’ll see a detailed list of all your liquidity positions, along with key metrics. This helps LPs track performance and decide their next steps, enabling them to take on a more active role in their liquidity management. For each position, you can track:
- Date & Time the position was opened
- Your Liquidity
- Claimable Fees
- Profit & Loss ($ and % value)
- Estimated 24h Fee / TVL % based on historical fees
Key Benefits:
Liquidity providers have actionable intelligence on their positions
- Identify underperforming positions instantly
- Compare capital efficiency across ranges
- Monitor estimated short-term fee generation (24h Fee/TVL %)
- Decide whether to compound, rebalance, or exit
5. Quick Actions for Speed and Precision when Managing Positions
Managing positions should be fast and intuitive. LPs now have powerful batch and individual controls via Quick Actions:
- Claim All Fees
- Close All Positions
- Claim fees from a specific position
- Close a specific position
Key Benefits:
Operational efficiency directly impacts LP fee-earning ability and profitability. For example, LPs may need to quickly claim and compound fees into the existing liquidity, or close their position to capture value before price changes.
The easier it is to claim and redeploy fees, or close your position, the more efficiently you can:
- Increase position size and capture more volume
- Rebalance your liquidity if required
- Capture earnings in your preferred token for your concentrated position before price goes back in range
6. More Efficient Position Management with Greater Control
Previously, when you select an existing position, position details and action buttons appear in a drop down format, resulting in plenty of scrolling up and down the pool page to view all the required details. This made managing liquidity positions more tedious than it should be.
Now, when you select a position, a separate, adjustable right-side panel opens with action buttons and controls. This panel can be resized or hidden depending on your visualization needs.
From this position management panel, you can:
- Add more liquidity within the same range
- Rebalance liquidity in one click, so that the current price becomes the center of your range
- Withdraw partial or full liquidity
- Withdraw and Close the position entirely
- Zap Out into your preferred token
Key Benefits:
Active management is the key to outperforming passive LP strategies. More control and faster execution means more timely adjustments and more fees captured.
Instead of having to endure tedious scrolling, or opening multiple pages, you can now manage your position more efficiently:
- Reacting instantly to price shifts based on position performance
- Increasing exposure to high-volume zones in your range
- Rebalancing or Exiting when risk conditions change
7. Customizable Interface
Every liquidity provider is different. That’s why this new interface allows you to simplify or expand the interface as needed:
- Hide or adjust the width of the pool and token insights panel on the left
- Hide or adjust the width of the position management panel on the right
- Hide or adjust the height of the price chart
Key Benefits:
Whether you’re a professional LP running multiple active strategies, a long-term passive capital allocator, or a new LP, you can tailor the interface to match your workflow.
A cleaner interface to improve focus, or an advanced interface for more data and faster execution, this is up to you!
